Race 1:
TINAMOU gets the step up in class today and makes it very hard to beat. RIVETED is the light weight hope and will be right in the finish, while Boss onboard ZOOMIN makes it very hard to beat ABITOFADO has form around Tinamou so that should make it competitive in the first four, while BOLLE has been good on the wet tracks and has won in town before, so he should add some value to the multiples. A tough race to start the day
Trifecta: 2,3,8/1,2,3,8/1,2,3,4,8
Race 2:
There seems to be a lot of value in this race with bookies yet to figure out which way they want to go. LIVE IN SIN looks the best value for me. Steps up in distance and likes the wet track. Its got a better Barrier then its competitors and is going to be very hard to beat. LUCY'S CASH is another who will jump next to live in sin. Looks to have some value about it, and will be in the race for a long way. MONT FLEURI has the bad barrier, but is a very good horse and will make the top four. SALINAS and MIDNIGHTWINE are the two others I would be including in my multiples. Best to go wide here.
Trifecta: 3,6,13/3,6,8,13/3,6,7,8,13
Race 3:
On exposed form STAR WITNESS is going to be very hard to beat here. Like the distace, black type. From then on it is very open, and I would suggest loading up on the second and third legs of the trifectas. MARMAA, GENERAL TRUCE, BREITLING, SOUL, SHRAPNEL and MASTER HARRY are all chances and winning hopes.

Race 4:
Pretty simple really, if CRYSTAL LILLY jumps then she will more then likely win. She is much better then this field. Go with her one out in the first leg. SHAAHEQ looks the logical quinella horse, BROADWAY HARMONY and ENZED GIRL are both good place chances.
Trifecta: 1/2,3,5/2,3,5,8
Race 5:
AVENUE looks very hard to beat in this race. The only query is the wet track, but I am sure she will handle it find. I would chuck in JEUNEYMAN in my first leg of the trifecta just in case. MR BARITONE, AB ALMALIK, NICASTRO and GRAND RANSOM are all place chances and worth adding to the quaddie.

Race 6:
CARRARA is back in Melbourne here and comes up against a lot of distance runners first up. It is well placed with SHOOT OUT to run in the top two. PREDATORY PRICER is another I would be chucking in, good at this distance, Newitt will give him a good ride. HEART OF DREAMS and MONACO CONSUL are the other two I give a chance to.
Trifecta: 6,11,13/3,6,11,13/3,6,11,12,13
Race 7:
VALENTINE MISS draws a nice barrier here and has an exceptional record at this distance. Ollie onboard will also help. OCEAN CHALLENGER and NO EVIDENCE needed also look like good winning hopes. RHYTHEM IN PARIS has been put into this from a much easier race today, so the trainer and connects must think that it is in up to its ears here. LADY LYNETTE and RUE MAPLE would round out my selections.

Race 8:
A very hard way to end the day at Caulfield. LUCKY THUNDER looks like it is a good hope, as does IMPERIAL COMMAND. ONLY HE KNOWS has been in good touch and must be included as a winning hope. JUNGLE RULES and MACEDONIAN round out the major chances, while TAN TAT BABY could sneak into the top 3 or 4.

Race 1: Dutchy's Lass
Noonan rkaes the claim for Dutchy's Lass which will make it very hard to beat. Trisara looks like a promising horse on the up, but will need to step up again after its maiden win at Geelong last start. Zoomania and Invincible You are the other two selections that would round out my first four.

Race 2: Censor
Another claim by Noonan brings Censor to 56kg and well in this race. Its form is better then the horses it is up against and it looks very hard to beat. The other Darley runner Retrieve comes from the same race as Lopov, but is worse off at the weights. If you rate Retrieve you have to give Lopov a lot of thought. God's Secet will also be there and about if it has its head switched on.

Race 3: Perturbo
Perturbo returns from a break hear and the word is that he is in good order. He looks very fit and should be running hard late. Galbraith is an on pacer who will be hard to run down if it sits near the front. Whiston also looks good value and has been running home well lately. Bondarchuk is another that could be steaming home late if there is a bit of pace on at the front.

Race 4: Pass Me By
Pass Me By is really starting to hit its straps now a couple of runs in and loves the 2000m so this will suit him to a tee. The claim of Lovelock-Wiggans is also handy and will make him very hard to beat. Testaguy is another who will be running hom strong from the back, while Gotta Keep Cool ran into the placings last week and could do the same again here.

Race 5: Pinnacles
Pinnacles has been flying this prep and this looks like a race that he has by the neck. If he doesn't win here I would be very surprised. Offenders looks like the logical one to catch Pinnacles, while Only He Kowns is another in good form.
Selections: 1-9-3-7
Race 6: Headway
Ran in much better company last prep and ran well. This looks like a very winnable race first up from the spell. Grand Duels is a threat, while Cheronbutch could run a smart race if the track is a bit wet.
Selections: 2-5-9-1
Race 7: Berringama
Thought its last start was good when it just finished out of the places. Has a good second up record and this is a very even race which means it has some nice E/W value about it and becomes my best value bet.
Arch Symbol is another likely to challenge with jockey Ben Melham riding the horse a treat in the past. Sacred Orders got to top form last week and could be hard to toss. Sheedy is another threat and looks nicely placed here.

Race 8: Cameo Minx
Cameo Minx gets the rise in distance and a nice weight. Ran on well behind Belscenica last start, so if you rate Cameo Minx you have to rate this runner. Rubinacci is up in distance after a comfortable win midweek and looks hard to get passed. Little Tycoon as a light weight chance looks fantastic and shouldbe in the finish.
