Race 1: LUCY'S CASH first run in Victoria and should be good. Had a group race last prep so the stable must have a high regard for her.

Other chances: SCREEN looks the logical third choice based on form.

Race 2: RUBY ROYAL

Ruby Royal has been really good so far this prep and looks perfectly suited for this track and trip. I think the two horses that have beaten her have a good future.

Other Chances: MAGIC OF EMMA looks like it should be at its peak for this run and I can see it running in the top two. MISS OUTSTANDING will head to the races for the first time after trialling well this preparation. An outside barrier might be a worry, but I like this horse's breeding.

Race 3: THE PENTAGON

The Pentagon looks like the obvious choice here with the race really only having three main chances. Not a bad record oer this trip and a solid fourth was good last start.

Other chances: TITCH beat The Pentagon last start and gets a three kilo claim. I can see these two battling it out. JUAN CARLOS is the only other horse who has a chance.

Race 4: WOPPITT

The top weight here looks like it is a good chance. Gets a minor claim with Rose on board which will help. If it runs to form then it should be right in the money.

Other chances: BELLE'S READY has got an OK first up record and had some nice runs last prep. Forget ROOF RAISER's last run. It is much better then that and when up and running can be good in the city.



Race 5: CLANG AND BANG has been running well of late and has been around the places.

Other chances: RICHOMAN won second up in its first prep and looks very good.


Race 6: SHEEDY

Sheedy has an outstanding record at this distances and is starting to get fitter for the runs so far this prep. Looks a good winning chance.

Other chances: LAKE CRESCENT and SARENKO both have been racing well and look like they could trouble my pick.

Race 7: SPONTANEOUS

Steps up in distance andhas two good runs under his belt. Looks set for this and should give it a good sight.

Other chances: DEFINITIVE and SPARE A DIME both need a little bit more ground but look well placed in a race without a lot of depth.


Race 8:
BUBBLE BELOW

Bubble Below looks nicely placed, although its last start was a little disappointing. I am sure a good run is not far away for this mare.

Other chances: TAKE ALL OF ME gets the claim and has been goot at its two runs from a spell at the Valley. VITEX second up also looks a threat with a nice run at Flemington over 1400m.
